Celebrated chef Louis Tikaram, of Cantonese/Chinese restaurant Stanley Brisbane is set to bring his culinary magic to new Byron Chinese restaurant, Hutong Harry’s (from the team that brought you Bang Bang) for an East meets West canapés party on Friday 24th May.
Dress to impress as the red carpet is rolled out and you are transported to the cosmopolitan charm of old Shanghai, complete with the rich sounds of live music amongst the surrounding antique opulence.
Tikaram will be showcasing his exotic flavours, spices and delectable tasters alongside Hutong's Executive Chef, Thomas Paddock. Tickets include a two hour beverage package, and a generous selection of miniature masterpiece, designed to excite the palate and elevate the tasting experience to new heights.
Louis Tikaram is Byron Shire born and bred and has worked in restaurants around the globe from Barcelona to New York and Los Angeles where he headed up the kitchen at trendy Southeast Asian rooftop E.P. & L.P. But it was in Sydney where Tikaram first made a name for himself at Tetsuya’s, Bentley and Longrain restaurants. It was at Longrain that Tikaram was named “2014 Josephine Pignolet Young Chef of the Year” by the Sydney Morning Herald.
