Join two of Australia’s most exciting young chef’s, Jake Kellie (arkhé, Adelaide) and Ross Magnaye (Serai kitchen, Melbourne) for an all-inclusive intimate 5-course dining experience in Byron's exquisite Hinterland. Our headline chefs are taking the hot-seat and whipping up a one-of-a-kind smoke-fulled feast, right infront of guests twinkling eyes.
Sparks collide, as the co-owner and Head Chef of arkhé, Jake Kellie brings his trusted hand, ensuring everything on the plate has been smoked, charred or licked by flame. Magnaye, owner/ Head Chef of Serai kitchen, recently recognised as the Best New Restaurant of 2023 by Gourmet Traveller Magazine, will be adding his tantalising Filipino flair to create a melting pot of flavour.
Upon arrival, guests will be taken to our beautiful Hinterland venue, for welcome drinks and canapés whilst the chefs put the final logs on the fire. Kellie and Magnaye will personally host guests to a five- course dinner created to spark child-like excitement and culinary curiosity. Walking and talking the guests through the menu, before exploring the land for a sun-downer in style.
Our guest chefs will curate the playlist, giving a personal insight into how Australia's hottest talents fire-up the atmosphere in the kitchen. Live music will also accompany the evening, adding to the ethereal, spectacular scenery the Northern Rivers provides.
Be warned, tickets are extremely limited and are set to sell out quickly. After all, there is no smoke without fire.
